Assistant Manager Operations- Container Terminal
About the role:
• Responsible for all operational activities including vessel, berth, yard, rail and warehousing.
• Ensure economical, efficient, and productive use of the department’s equipment and manpower.
• Manage the department’s financial, administrative, and personnel activities.
• Act as the key internal and external focal point for the company’s operational activities.
• Establish, organize, and maintain a high standard of working relationships with the terminal stakeholders, shipping lines, shipping agents, shippers, consignees, railroad authorities and other parties.
• Ensure safe working conditions for staff, contractors, and visitors by Taking all the necessary actions and precautions measures to ensure zero
incident\accident of unsafe behavior in the immediate work area .
Ideal candidate experience, skills& qualifications:
• Minimum 6 years of management experience in container terminal operations.
• Post-Graduate / Graduate Degree in Management or Logistics.
• Fluency in written & spoken English.

Senior supervisor - Quality and training
About the role:
In order to give credible support to the organization and be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will perform the following tasks:
•To assist the QHSE manager in conducting the internal quality audits and follow up of corrective and preventive actions
•Establish, Implement and Maintain the QMS and HSEMS.
•Reporting QHSE manager on the performance of the MS and suggest corrective action.
•Collaborate in preparing Annual Training Plans and implements and evaluate training and development programs.
•Designs and coordinates staff training program based on organizational and employee needs in accordance with training plan and training budget.
•Evaluates the effectiveness of training programs, using surveys, questionnaires, interviews and observation, in order to plan future courses or to amend existing ones.
•On site, carrying out and implementing Safety Plans and Recommendations that abide to ensure safety aspects for other employees and users.
•Collaborate in training for a sample Fire Evacuation; by preparation, communication, resources availability, and or other needed features.
•Collaborate in Safety Awareness Issues; such as operating in systematic approach, implementing awareness sessions, soft copies of bulletin, flyers, leaflet…etc.
Ideal candidate experience, skills& qualifications:
•Minimum 3 years in Safety, Quality Assurance and Training.
•Scientific Degree in Industrial Engineering, chemical / Safety or adequate experience for more than 3 years in the same field.
•Certified with ISO14000, ISO18000, OSHA and IOSH Requirements .
•Fluency in written & spoken English.
•Perfect in Training, Communication and Presentation.
