DP World Sokhna is connected to the hinterland road network via one single large entrance area.
Through the port area a network of main roads has been constructed and all utilities, including water, electricity, telecommunications and IT networks are well established.

Specific conveyor systems have been constructed to minimise logistics costs and environmental impact.

The port is connected to Cairo via a six lane highway, ensuring speedy movement of maritime traffic to and from the port. A rail network is already in place and further expansion of this network is planned.
